We have a fairly simple points system for Fantasy Henley.
The racing course is 2112 metres long.
There's a start, a finish and two timing points. The first is the Barrier and the second is the Fawley.
The Barrier is about 2-2.5min into the race and Fawley is about half way.
There are two crews in each race and the points are calculated as follows:
- 1st crew to the Barrier gets 2 points.
- 1st crew to Fawley gets 4 points.
- 1st crew over the finish line gets 8 points.
If a crew keeps a clean sheet and leads at all three they get a bonus point.
This means that losing crews have an opportunity to steal points from their opposition by leading them earlier in the race.
Records: Henley Royal Regatta keep records to each marker and so if your crew equals a record for a marker, they'll earn a 2x bonus for that marker, and if they break a record the multiplier increases to 3x.
If your crew wins a final they get a bonus 10 points.
And that's it.
All the points feed into the leaderboard and private leagues automatically.
